Chronology of cameras Adox

After the Sport and the Golf in the early 1960s, here is a new series of 35 mm cameras whose name evokes dynamism, by associating a certain idea of luxury. But despite their name, some Polos are simple cameras, without much technicality, and even less luxury.

1 The Radionar L 2.8/45mm lens has a specificity, denoted by the L. Its lenses are coated by adding lanthanum oxide La2O3 to increase the refractive index. Lanthanum is one of the rare earth metals.

The Polomat 2 differs from the Polomat by its shutter and the fact that the indications from the exposure meter that appear in a small window on the top are reflected to the viewfinder thanks to a mirror. The viewfinder is collimated.
